Thickened sludge from Clarification System and/or Sludge Thickening System is further treated in the Dewatering System to extract remaining water from the sludge called filtrate before disposal. The filtrate is recycled to the system while the disposal of dewatered sludge is managed according to the environmental laws and regulations.
